Scott Walker Goes Off Deep End Comparing Labor to ISIS

By Sahid Fawaz

Yesterday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was asked at the Conservative Political Action conference how he would deal with ISIS.

His response?

“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world.”

This glimpse into Walker’s mind shows us just how distorted his view of labor is. To compare workers protesting for their labor rights with ISIS is so crazy and out there that even Texas Governor Rick Perry called Walker out for the remark.

“These are Americans,” Perry said in response to Walker’s comment. “You are talking about, in the case of ISIS, people who are beheading individuals and committing heinous crimes, who are the face of evil. To try to make the relationship between them and the unions is inappropriate.”
