Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients (purchase from your local unionized grocery store):

1 tsp. Domino brown sugar
4 oz. Alta Dena milk, hot (use hot water for a less creamy texture)
2 oz. Bacardi Select dark rum
1 tbsp.  unsalted Land O’Lakes butter
Durkee ground nutmeg

1. Select a mug to serve in, make sure it is heat resistant. Prepare that mug by warming it up – pour hot water into it and cover with a small plate.
2. Once mug is warm, empty the hot water and add the brown sugar and hot milk. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then add the rum.
3. Float the butter atop the drink and sprinkle some nutmeg for garnish.

Labor 411 endorses moderate and responsible drinking.
