Union Summer: Caprese Summer Pasta

Looking for a simple, yet delicious meal this summer? Look no further! We’ve crafted a pasta dish that requires minimal prep work and is almost too easy to throw together. You’ll please the whole family with this cheesy yet fresh summer pasta.

As always, our recipes are designed to be prepared with union-made ingredients and support unionized grocery stores.

Ingredients (purchase from your local unionized grocery store):

1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta – look for San Giorgio, Ronzoni, or Catelli brands
6 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese – look for Tillamook or Kraft brands
1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup Goya olive oil
1/2 tsp Durkee garlic salt
Durkee ground pepper, to taste


1.    Cook linguine according to package instructions
2.    Combine tomatoes, cheese, basil, garlic, olive oil, and garlic salt in a medium bowl
3.    Drain pasta and transfer into serving bowl. Combine with tomato mixture and season with pepper to taste.
