Our muscle car roundup continues with the legendary Dodge Challenger. Made by proud union labor, this car is all about power and performance. Check out the highlights below and see whether a Challenger should be on your radar for your next car purchase.

Body:

Classic. Retro. Intimidating. The Challenger is one mean looking machine. You won’t find anything else that looks like it on the market today. Check it out for yourself:

Interior:

Of the three American muscles available – the Challenger, Mustang, and Camaro – the interior of the Challenger is our favorite. It’s sleek, modern, sporty, and exciting. It comes standard with a seven inch digital cluster display and keyless entry. Also available is an impressive 8.4 inch Uconnect touchscreen navigation system as well as Bluetooth connectivity. The car seats up to five people and is the roomiest of the three muscle cars.

It also offers seventeen interior styles to choose from. Browse all of them here.

Under the hood:

The Challenger offers a V6 with 305 HP and 268lb/ft of torque. But if that’s not enough, there are three V-8 options. The 5.7L option provides 375 HP and 410lb/ft of torque. The 6.4L option puts out 485 HP and 475lb/ft of torque. And the Supercharged 6.2L HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 engine puts out an insane 707 HP and 650lb/ft of torque.

Price:

The V-6 starts at $26,995 and the V-8 models start at $31,495. The Hellcat starts at around $60,000. For a comparison chart of prices and features, visit this link.

Conclusion:

The Challenger is the biggest of the muscle cars. And offers arguably the best interior and performance. It’s not for everyone, but if love the classic muscle cars of the ’60s and ’70s, then you should definitely schedule a test drive to see if a Challenger is the next car for you.
