Amazon Workers In Chicago Walk Off The Job

Fed-up workers at a Chicago suburb Amazon workplace walked out in frustration today.

ABC 7 Chicago reports:

“Some Amazon workers walked out of a facility in Cicero [Illinois] Wednesday morning

The group of about 30 said they are demanding better pay and working conditions.

A spokesman for the workers said the company has threatened them with firing if they walked out. An Amazon spokesperson denied that claim and said the employees were reassured that anyone who took part would not face retaliation.”
