Biden Fires Trump’s Anti-Union Labor Attorney After He Refuses To Step Down

One of Trump’s worst appointments – Peter Robb as NLRB General Counsel – refused to step down after President Biden asked for his resignation yesterday.

In a letter to the Biden administration, Robb wrote: “I respectfully decline to resign from my Senate-confirmed four-year term appointment as General Counsel of the NLRB less than 10 months before the expiration of my term.”

Biden responded by immediately firing him.

Robb, who had a long career as a union-busting attorney prior to joining the NLRB, was one of the most anti-union General Counsels that the NLRB has seen.

During his tenure he pushed to weaken unions and was effective in doing so as the NLRB ruled over and over against unions.

There is no word yet on who will replace him.
