Unite Here has released a video criticizing Marriott’s “Green Choice” program as a job-cutting program branded as environmental measures. According to the union, “When there are less rooms to clean, housekeepers lose wages and benefits – and they also report pain, injury, and even using more harsh chemicals when cleaning ‘Green Choice’ rooms.”
