Mars Wrigley Fires Workers Who Demanded Job Safety And Hazard Pay During Pandemic

With $33 billion in annual sales, Mars Wrigley is the sixth largest privately held company in the U.S.

Yet despite its wealth, it refuses to provide adequate safety protections and hazard pay during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In fact, it has gone further by firing workers who have rallied together and spoken out against the company.

With an unrelenting and unprecedented U.S pandemic, one would assume that a company with the resources of Mars Wrigley would take reasonable measures to protect workers and compensate them appropriately. To date it has not done so.

With Halloween approaching, it is the perfect time to send a message to Mars Wrigley about its unconscionable workplace conditions. Sign the workers’ petition today at https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/covid-19-protection-for-candy-workers-during-halloween-season-is-essential/ and tell Mars Wrigley to treat its workers fairly.
