Union Bartender: Drunken Root Beer Floats

Celebrate National Root Beer Float Day with this punchy take on the classic bubbly treat. This easy drink recipe is the perfect way to cool down and beat the summer heat, with a little kick for fun. Like always, all of our recipes are designed to be prepared with union-made ingredients and support good jobs!

Ingredients (purchase from your local unionized grocery store):

– 1 can of root beer (Barq’s, Old Philadelphia, Blumers)
– 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream (Tillamook, Breyers, Creamland)
– 2 oz of vanilla vodka


1.    Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream to a frosty glass
2.    Pour vanilla vodka over the ice cream
3.    Fill up the remainder of the glass with root beer
